Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American journalist. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN and is anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. She was hired by ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. She is the child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been so since her age of nine. This skill allowed her to land her first position at Univision, Miami. She could work alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was later employed to the CBS station as a sports journalist. In 2009, the news reporter relocated to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as and Fox2 News. The stories she wrote about covered immigration drugs, immigration, as well as various other topics on the Texas as well as the Mexico border. The family were moved into Mexico City where she was born on November 22 1985. Also, she has an older sibling. In 1992, the family settled in Miami after moving out of Mexico into the US. Soon after they separated, and in the year 1995, Fabio Fajardo was remarried. He died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. While on a vacation Antonietta was staying at the house of her sister Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed a new job. Antonietta was a senior in high school having a clear idea of where she wanted her future to be, visited Mount Union University in order to find out if the school suited her. The campus was a dream for her. They also offered her the major that she desired. She finished school and enrolled at the university as an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a part. They had a very close connection. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm for journalism deeply touched her. As a result, she determined to meet his demands, never letting him down.
